How to change Search Engine for FIREFOX

There are two areas where Firefox does searching; the default search in the address bar, and the default search for the search bar.  The following are instructions on how to change both.

Change Default Search in the Search Bar:

It is very simple, Firefox does not have any formal search engine.  So, to change just locate the search bar within the browser.  Hit the dropdown menu box and select another engine.  If your preferred engine is not listed than select Manage Search Engines at the bottom of the dropdown box to add.  Firefox will remember your choice and use the new default until you change it.  You will see the logo of your choice display to the left of the menu dropdown box.
